Located at Eleventh Hour Brewing in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood, this immersive Christmas pop-up bar transformed the brewery into a festive holiday destination where guests could sip seasonal cocktails, explore interactive themed spaces, and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
Designed and installed by Kristen Kane Events, Jingle Bar was more than a holiday bar. It was a fully immersive Christmas experience featuring multiple themed environments, larger-than-life décor, interactive photo opportunities, live entertainment, and countless festive details waiting to be discovered. Every room invited guests to slow down, explore, and experience Christmas through a different lens, making each visit feel like stepping into a holiday movie.

Transforming a Brewery into a Christmas Village
One of the most unique aspects of Jingle Bar was the venue itself. The existing architecture of 11th Hour Brewing resembles a charming German village, making it the perfect backdrop for a holiday transformation.
To enhance the existing character of the space, the building façades were decorated with greenery, garland, and snow-covered details that made guests feel as though they had wandered into a festive European Christmas village. From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in the sights, textures, and atmosphere of the holiday season.
Every transition between spaces was intentionally designed to build anticipation, encouraging guests to continue exploring as new surprises unfolded around every corner.
A Journey Through Christmas Favorites
Guests entered the main room through a beautifully decorated present archway that immediately transported them into a whimsical holiday world.
Beyond the entrance, visitors discovered a playful tribute to Buddy the Elf. Oversized paper chains stretched across the ceiling alongside hanging snowflakes, creating a cheerful atmosphere inspired by one of the most beloved modern Christmas movies. Decorated Christmas trees completed the space while inviting guests to stop for photos before continuing through the experience.
From there, guests entered the heart of Jingle Bar.
The Heart of Jingle Bar
The main bar embraced a nostalgic, kitschy Christmas aesthetic filled with bold color, vintage-inspired decorations, and playful holiday charm.
As a focal point, shimmering red and green tinsel curtains framed a glowing Jingle Bar neon sign that quickly became one of the venue's favorite photo opportunities. Every wall was layered with festive details including ugly Christmas sweaters, stockings, oversized bows, ornaments, wreaths, and countless nostalgic holiday decorations that rewarded guests who took the time to look closely.
Above, the ceiling became part of the experience itself. Twinkling lights, shimmering tinsel, and hundreds of hanging Christmas ornaments transformed the space into a sparkling canopy that surrounded guests from every angle.
No matter where visitors stood, there was always another detail waiting to be discovered.
A Tribute to the Queen of Christmas
One of the most talked-about spaces celebrated the undisputed Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey.
This glamorous holiday installation featured custom wrapping paper adorned with photos of the iconic singer, framed song lyrics, festive photos, and sparkling details worthy of holiday royalty. The playful tribute became an instant favorite with guests who couldn't resist stopping for photos before singing along to the soundtrack of the season.
For those paying especially close attention, an unexpected surprise was hidden within the décor. Tucked inside one of the wreaths was an elf with an unmistakable resemblance to Snoop Dogg, adding another whimsical detail for guests to discover throughout the experience.
A Christmas Story Comes to Life
Another immersive environment transported guests into one of the most iconic Christmas movies of all time, A Christmas Story.
The display featured Ralphie wearing his unforgettable pink bunny suit alongside a recreation of the Parker family's Christmas tree. Underneath sat carefully selected gifts inspired by the beloved film, including a Red Ryder BB gun, a fire truck, and the memorable blue bowling ball.
Fans of the classic movie delighted in recognizing each nostalgic detail while introducing a new generation of visitors to one of Christmas's most cherished stories.
Holiday Magic Around Every Corner
Throughout the venue, Christmas trees of every shape and style filled the space, reinforcing the magical holiday atmosphere from room to room. Guests also discovered a striking nutcracker display that added another festive focal point to the experience while complementing the overall holiday design.
Live actors brought additional energy and interaction to Jingle Bar, engaging with guests throughout the evening and creating memorable moments that extended beyond the décor.
